Romantic love is continuously built on stereotypes and dream-like scenarios so far-stretched from the complex lives of humanity that they become absurd. Combining these absurd characters, plots, and landscapes, I explored the experimental world of art films, the avant-garde, Dada and surrealism. These films visually brought to light a different kind of absurdity, which I found perfect to combine with Rom-Com.
